AC-20 is an electronic activating system for electric locks (access control), which uses RFID technology. The system consists of the reader (Reader Proximity) and the Control Unit.
The reader has the possibility to read electronic keys at a distance of up to 20 cm. The control unit compares the digital identity that the reader sends with the key codes we have stored in its memory. If the key is acceptable then it opens the lock.
Apart from the increased safety (the keys cannot be copied) the system gives the possibility to a key to open many locks, and each lock to open with up to 2000 keys.
In addition, the system accepts an Ethernet or wi-fi communication module for connection to a central computer. This way information can be collected about who and when opened each door. The keys exist in various shapes, like a card, keyholder and sticker.
